Do it do it! I was in the city yesterday and on my drive home I figured to stop at the goose sanctuary which I had never been to, I am definitely going back because I was pooping my pants that I didn't have my camera. The CUTEST little owl was sitting on the "no hunting" post... he was just looking at me and all around it was awesome.

So post owls too! LOL

ENded up being a good shot anyway; just a shame about the focus to it all. Would have been SWEET if it was caught perfectly like that.

Well, looking at parts it also seems as if it would have needed a slightly faster sutter speed. Regardless, it's still cool

i think its the whole idea that they could peck your eyes out while standing on even ground with you...

now that i think about that...im kinda glad he flew away....

great capture. i've always startled these guys before i've been able to get pics of them. and i was never able to get a good shot of one in flight. i love the soft colors, the plain bg, and the placement of this one. great focus on the feathers in those wings as well.

i waas trying to get a good one of him standing...i had one, but didnt realize the macro focus was on...grrrr

then he took off, so i followed him for a second then snapped a shot off, and luckily caught him in a good spot....
