A more… formal bit of my art trade with Yami-Tomoshibi . He asked me to draw a humanized version of Discord from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, but I drew an entire picture for the trade. I made this as a bonus, because the picture I actually drew didn’t allow me to get a good angle to show all the detail, so I whipped this up at the last minute so he (and everyone else) could see the design itself.
Now, I didn’t look up any pictures of him humanized until after I had my design done (because he said he wasn’t very pleased with some of the designs already out there) so I did this all based on how I imagined he would look. Evidently some people kept his tail and horns along with the wings and such… But when presented with “humanize Discord” I wanted to keep it strictly human…

(Sorry for how little I wrote about the other pic) See, THIS is why I wanted you to draw this character. You've captured the very essence of this character in a way that very few have been able to do. His expression just WREAKS of devilish mischief! I'm also glad that you kept his outfit formal, yet very simple, which is frankly the way I always pictured it. All in all, this is absolutely phenomenal. My non-existent hat goes off to you, pal. Great work!!

I think I've stopped functioning, this comment is so sweet. People often come to me for my style of drawing, but this... It goes on to being able to understand personalities and convey them through the very design and soul of a character. I'm so very glad you're pleased with how this turned out. I always feared you wouldn't be pleased with the design and I gravely didn't want to disappoint you. Such an indepth comment... It really made my day. Thank you.
