Description My favorite part of the movie. It literally took my breath away. And I'll be damned if I didn't admit it looked like fun and I would totally do that if I had a dragon.

And this is coming from someone who's scared of heights and had a panic attack the first time she rode in an airplane!

I did! lol It was awesome, the animation, plot, the effects! It was almost believable. And Toothless, OMG SO cute when Hiccup first released him! XDDD

My only two complaints are that Hiccup sounded like an older teenager when he was like what the size of an 11 year old (?) and that none of the kids had Viking/Scottish accents like the adults. But other than that it was great!

They even showed writing like it was 1,000 year ago when the Vikings roamed in the Dragon manual.

Oh, and I can't decide if I like Hiccup or Toothless more. lol

lol, only 'almost' believable? xD Considering it only took a year to make, it was amazingly believable to me.

Well, Hiccup and the others aren't supposed to be eleven, they're in their older teens (15-17ish, possibly 18). In the book, yes, they're little, but Chris Sanders made them older for the movie. And the accent thing was done to symbolize how Hiccup was estranged from his dad (and, by cause and effect, how the other teens were estranged from their parents).

I meant almost believable as like it happened in real life with all the life-like effects. As a movie it is VERY believable. Sorry, I should have specified about I meant better.

I see. I didn't know it was made from a book. Their size makes Hiccup and the others have a LOT of growing to do before they are as big as their parents. Kind of strange for their older teens.

I understand now about the accent thing with the kids.

OH okay. That makes sense, lol. xD

Yep, the book is pretty damn cute. NO WHERE near as amazing as the movie, though. But I like the books anyway. ^^ And I've noticed they do that a lot in animated things...the adults look extremely disporportionate compared to the kids and teens...wonder why...?

Yep, I thought it was a nice touch. Cover up a plot hole AND add some symbolism in one fell swoop. xP

Yep. Glad I explained that better. XD

Me too. Maybe the rest of the kids are puny and no Viking-ish like Hiccup for some reason? Or maybe they really are younger than 15-17.

Agreed.

Maybe. Thing is, I read somewhere that Hiccup was 17 in the movie. So maybe he's just like all the guys here on campus, unusually small. And when I think about it, Chris Sanders did a bit of this in Lilo & Stitch, too...Lilo's pretty small for an eight-year-old...

Yeah that is odd. Maybe they'll grow into their 20's. lol But it's probably just the style of the director of drawing kids.

WOOO!

Yeah, I wasn't so much like "wow, that was kick-ass!" I was more or less thinking, "Wow...that was both beautiful AND intense!" xD
