Oooh! Nice story! I did rather wonder what it must have been like for GLaDOS to have all those cores talking to her inside her head like that, especially the morality core. I also think it's interesting how the morality core reminds GLaDOS about how she was built by humans. I kinda wondered how she'd feel about that.

Yeah, for sure! That would be quite a tricky thing to override. Maybe she could do it through some sort of logic trick, or maybe gives it a moral paradox of some sort that freezes its programming or inhibits it in return somehow. Which could explain why it still somewhat works in the first Portal, but then can't talk like the other cores because it has a glitch of some sort or is partially broken.

Exactly! I was wondering if anyone noticed that! It also doesn't look at you, so I doubt that it has been working during any point in the game.

Yeah! Or at least it wasn't working 100%. 'Cause GLaDOS still attempts to kill you several times, but it seems like all the cores, especially the morality core, still inhibit her somehow. At least in the way she talks and everything. Only after you completely destroy it does she seem to regain freedom over her thoughts again.
