Lookin' good, I really like the simplistic modelling, it's perfect for what you're using it. Also, I like the lighting in the room, really reminds me of a night-time scene where one would have a living room that's being illuminated by a television, that's a great and subtle touch. Also, I like the toonshader that you're using, gives off a nice cartoon look but still has a good sense of 3D to it that I, personally, hate to see lost in 3D renders.
All in all, this is a good start to your renders, keep it up.
