Yeah, i wrote that because i heared about some people that say "Splatoon is Nintendo's Call of duty" "Splatoon is Nintendo's response to call of duty" "Splatoon or Call of duty?"
...also, because honestly i think that CoD would win, because CoD it's overrated. If you have heard about something named "NiΓ±o rata", you would understand...

True, but the multiplayer gameplay of CoD was about the same as the other ones was. And Splatoon was DIFFERENT from CoD and Destiny. It was more 'Ink the most Turf' or 'Beat the other team in Rank Battles' kind of multiplayer that made each and every player uses different strategy in a way they use their weapons. The weapon choices are really good and keep on expanding new weapons and stages as time goes by. And I DO agree that CoD was a bit overrated in the 'Best Shooter' and 'Best Multiplayer' category. So like you said, 'Beat that CoD fans!' And what I like to say....
TAKE THAT CALL OF DUTY FANS! GIVE SPLATOON AND SHOT AND YOUΒ WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT THE GAME DOWN ONCE YOU STARTED!

You're right!
I don't know if is good the comparison, but in my perspective, i think that Splatoon is like the "Majora's Mask" of the FPS, because, as you say, it's "different" but keeps the basic mechanism of a shooter, with a really good lore, single player story, bosses,Β weapons, battle stages and, some important things to me, "Music" "Gameplay" and why not, really cute characters...
Splatoon is a one of those different games from, an generic genre on today like the FPS...
...(like Majora's mask was to the Zelda franchise, or games in general)
