Description
Too often are people written off and cast aside by society as cynics and overly-negative or angry people. There is great wisdom to be found in the words of a cynic; no matter how depressive and hate-filled they maybe. Understand well that nobody is born a cynic. No one is brought into this world with pessimistic eyes which see only pain and suffering. We are people who look for joy and happiness just like everyone else, but all we have seen time and time again is evil having sway and everything which is good in our lives crushed to dust under the trampling feet of the war horses of Hell.Do not think your happy little lives are so far-removed from evil that they cannot be destroyed and torn asunder. Do not think your love is so strong that it cannot be broken by the hands of darkness or turned against you so you cry tears of blood upon your pillow at night as your soul bleeds out from a shattered heart and broken dreams. We cynics are people who's hearts are dead or dying. Some of us are damaged beyond anyone's ability to mend, and our only recourse...our only salvation is to try and warn those who's hearts have not yet been destroyed by darkness. Listen well to the cynics you so often mock and shun; for we have seen first-hand how powerful and resilient evil's might can be. Take heed to the cynics and guard your hearts from those who are heartless. This is not a happy world we live in, and it pays to know your enemies.

You'll do yourself no favors by thinking this way. Forgive me, but it makes for a terrible anarchist and an even worse man.

Either we're right or we're pleasantly surprised. With you, however, you're either right or you're wrong and disappointed.

One does even less favors for themselves by being blind and oblivious to the harshness of reality; like many optimists and overzealous idealists are.
If anything my cynicism makes me a better anarchist, because I know well what the odds are. I know what I'm up against. I know well the evil of this world, and are not looking up to the sky in vain for some divine intervention to supposedly allow good to prevail. Such idealistic thinking is precisely why good is always crushed by those with evil and greedy hearts. My cynicism fills me with vengeful disdain and drives me to fight all that much harder against the forces which fuel the evil of this world; stupidity, complacency, and false idealism.

As good as perfect.
That's all I can say about this picture.

Anyone can be cynical but it takes a true misanthrope to see that some people are sincere.

couldn't have said it better myself. Optimistic people in my eyes choose to be ignorant thinking they feel better because of it... they learn the hard way, these are the people who are okay with the rogue NSA spying on everything everyone does, these are the people okay with rampent polce brutality and prisons overflowing with "criminals" that are often there for non violent drug possession, these are the people that are okay watching their bank accounts disappear into the hands of people who already have billions, these are the people who ignore the staggering greed that has ruined the healthcare system.
They won't have it any other way until they have nothing left, only then will they learn, when it's far too late, when they have already dragged us down with them...
