Five Folland Gnat T.1 aircraft of The Yellowjacks in 1964.The Yellowjacks were formed in 1964 by Flt Lt Lee Jones, a veteran of 111 Sqn's Black Arrows, at No. 4 FTS, RAF Valley. During the single season in which they displayed, The Yellowjacks gained a reputation for striking performances. The Red Arrows were formed in 1965 from pilots (and aircraft) originating from The Yellowjacks. This image, created in Cinema4d, then painted in Corel Paint, depicts the team of five Gnats in Broad Arrow formation, flying over Snowdonia National Park.
