A cloud of smoke filled the room as the door slid open, Undyne rubbed her head softly. "Ugh, my head..." Undyne muttered, Alphys just smiled, it had been five years, five years of waiting and testing... Five years of tear soaked pillows, countless medications and she had lost count of the nights where her bed wouldn't see her until dawns early light, but she had finally done it.
"U-Undyne?" She asked, unsure of it really being her, they starred at each other for... Only god knows how long, the tension in the air was as thick as the pale smoke.
"I-Is that r-really you?" She asked, over those five years she had gotten rid of her stuttering mostly, it only really came out when she was feeling a lot of emotions, and she knew this qualified as a lot.
"Wait, Alphie?" Undyne asked, The smaller took no longer to stare at the theories over her walls or her mathematical prints, for all she cared all of those things could burn to the ground because she was here, her Undyne was really here.
"UNDYNE!" She exclaimed, throwing herself into the taller's arms. Undyne caught her with ease as she spun the other around, they looked into each other's eyes for a moment. Then, as soon as Alphys's shy nature was about to get the best of her and prod her to look away from those entrancing emerald eyes, the window's to Undyne's soul shut as she planted a long kiss on the other's lips.
The world around them could've exploded or faded to ash right then and neither would care, because finally, they were together again.
(Sorry, you made an alternate ending, I'm a writer, these things happen)

When I was listening to Battle Against a True Hero and looking in the comments, someone said this would happen to Undyne after she took down Chara.
