This was the very first Nerf gun mod that I did. I made it almost a year ago now for last halloween. It's a modded nerf maverick and it took me about three weeks to do (with many, many breaks.) I used spray paint, acrylic paint and some rub n buff to do the repaint. The Handle is stretched leather and I modded the barrel to open all the way.As always comments, questions, and criticisms are welcome. Hope you like it.

May I ask how you modded the magazine-loading-thing to open all the way? I cant find how.

If you look on the gun there is a little tab that the barrel catches on that prevents it from opening completely. If you take the gun apart and remove that tab, then presto you have a barrel that opens completely.

very nicely painted almost completly over looked the leather hand grip work. you've got great eye on your pain detail

Thank you. I'm more proud of the leather on that handle then I am of almost anything else I've done to a Nerf gun.
