there are so many stories behind this photo. who walked and worked of this floor. who touched the paper on the floor - who throw it away. ...
friends and me have been in a closed factory last weekend and it's very strange to see this old and empty place but you know there was live in it many years before.

Isnt it strange how we can allow ourselves to throw away little bits of our life, and move on as if nothing at all has happened? I believe this capture to be a metaphore of todays society, at least in America. We work so hard for the little things, but when it comes down to it, nothing at all ever mattered, and it all ends up in the streets and gutters anyways.

like the way the 'ribbon' gives the effect of distance -- so much is here -- like the colours and the intensity of the photo -- later days
