I really can relate to the feeling in this piece. It seems to be easier observing people rather than interacting with them most times for me. Due to being shy or not as confident as I should be.
But using art to show thoughts and ideas can really be wonderful!

Beautiful portrait, I love the thoughfulness in it. it's nice to see some clutter around the subject, some people like to just stand in a vacant area and take shots. This brings a lot of character to the photograph. And the colour is just great, the shadows on everything give it so much depth.

for some reason i just automatically assumed the boxes were filled with books. why, i dunno. i like the lighting. and greenish colour. i didn't think of him in so much physical aching pain as mental. again, not sure why. just my reaction to it. very nicely done photograph though. like it a lot.
