Urgh.... as cool as these transformation comics are, it always bugs me greatly that every last one of them involves the subject losing their will or having their minds rewritten in the process. Can't say I'm a fan of brainwashing in any shape or form.

(Shudder) Alright, that's quite creepy. It seems her final free-thinking moments were filled with terrible pain. However, she does have an outer layer around her base shell now, so she's got protection inside the 'core chamber' of this automaton. Nice streamlined design, I'd say.
Also, I can't understand what those six red banners/paper pieces are saying. Are we supposed to, like they're referencing something, or are they a fictional set of characters made specifically for the story? It might be helpful in understanding the sequence if we could figure out what those meant.
