Description thought i would throw down some fan art after seeing the movie (highly recommend seeing)

for the most part this is traditional brush and ink work, but after i finished i felt it needed more. So i snagged the V emblem off the movie website, and colored the rose to balance out the pic

Niceness, I've been wanting to see this since I heard about it. By the way, you should look out for hte movie version of Frank Miller's the 300!

Lovely. Have you read the graphic novel?

Yes, there is a bit of a story behind it though.. I was only about 15 or 16 when i first read it, and hated it! But i was young and didn't much care for politics, or world events and it's just one of those books that i had always wanted to get back around to reading. Once it is re-released in "Absolute" format from DC i will pick it up.

I should probably pick up the re-release myself - my original copy is falling apart! I haven't seen the movie yet, and I wanted to ask you if you felt it did the comic justice. Despite not liking it originally, do you think it did?

despite Alan Moore's bitching about the script (I'll elaborate my opinion if you'd like) I did think it was a good "adaption" it is by no means a clear cut as Sin City, and there a are a few changes i agreed with and a few i didn't but i can't give specifics without ruining anything.
