I've been wanting to do a picture like this for a while. I've always loved Ninetails and Arcanine.
So what better excuse than A-kon? ;]
(I was debating whether or not to include Houndoom, but I decided to stick with the traditional ones. It's pretty likely that I'll draw a houndoom later though, because it's another one of my favorites, and likely to be on my team in HG/SS, hehe!)
(And yes I know ninetails is a fox! gahh)
I've had this done for a while and I was just waiting to get home so I could get a nice scan of it.
Copic markers, india ink, watercolor, gold ink and white gelpen.

This seems so elegant! When I looked at it, I thought "Pokemon Queen of Hearts"! :[) Arcanine is my favorite, I have one in every game I can! Vulpix is my 2nd favorite fire pokemon... Houndour comes close behind. Dragonair and Hunchcrow rock peoples sox a lot, as well as mine ;D

This would be a super cool design for the back of playing cards. That's the first thing I thought when I saw it. I guess it just seems to have a "Royal" presence. If that makes any sense (which it may not). Very cool.
