Description
Now that my to-do list is under control and I'm ACTUALLY AHEAD ON MY SCHOOL WORK, I feel no guilt in uploading art of my own characters. xD
It's been quite a long time since I've really... officially drawn them (or rather, uploaded pictures of them) so I decided I'd do some good, clean revamps of my main characters, because they really needed them... Some of that brightly colored garish sparkle stuff needed to be done away with.
PLUSSS when I'm getting commissions and trades from people, I really need some good, updated and relatively easy-to-follow references.
So here's Vahn, version 2.0.
~blah blah, boring info about Vahn commences~
-he is a feline hybrid, some sort of mix between cheetah (as seen in the body type and somewhat in the markings) tuxedo cat (markings also), lion (weird mane-thing, I guess that's my only explanation of that.. xD), and white tiger (tail) I dunno, he's basically just one big black and white mess.
-He was originally inspired by the band, the Matches. He could pretty much be summed up by the album Decomposer, I guess...
-Personality wise, some sort of twisted gentlemanly figure, really likes confusing people with weird logic and crazy vocabulary? Likes riddles and things, guess he's a sphynx minus the human face and plus really weird black and white markings and a lolita-esque tophat. xD
-Speaking of the tophat, patterns and such change, he probably has a bunch of 'em hidden someplace so he has a different tophat every time you see him. Generally they keep within black and white with a hint of red or pink though. It's up to you.
SOOO there's Vahn. I've got a couple more of these coming.

I love the little victorian-esque details in his design too and how he's a total gentleman. Is he like the Baron from Whisper of the Heart/The Cat Returns? He seems like he'd be that cool!

anyway, he looks so mad! (in the best way possible) I love his sticky-out fur and that jolty tail. AH I shall have fun drawing him. <3

My my someone's had a makeover! I like it though. I liked him before, but I definitely find a different appeal now. Very gentlemanly in that crazy kid kind of way.
And damn you find THE COOLEST scrapbook paper. I am jealous.

Yep, he did have green! Greenishtealish color little floaty wings and a weird arrow piercing. I just got rid of that stuff because it wasn't really consistant with his character.
