This is the fourth design of my series "Redesigning gen 5"And this time I decided to do Zephyrina Storm a.k.a Zipp.
Her original design out of the main five (or main six if we count Misty) was okay, like it wasn't anything special. My main problem with the design was that it didn't resemble anywhere near her family members. Sure, we still don't know what her and Pipp's father looks like but still she should at least have some resemblance to her mom or to her sister. So, instead of her skin color being pure white I decided to change it into this really light old rose toned color. I was torn between her having a different brighter color on the tips of her wings but since her hair already has this bright turquoise color, I decided to drop the idea and just make the feathers' color go darker.
I kept her hair style pretty much the same but I took out the really bright pink and changed it into this warm purple as both of her sister and mother has purple in their hair. I kept the bright turquoise stripes.
In her original design, her legs were going to have these "feathers" on them so I brought it back and made the hooves' color more of a warm purple.
At the end of the day her design didn't change drastically and I had lot of fun while making it!
