asked for a drawing with Ursa and Katara, perhaps after Zuko joins the gang.
I hope you like your pressie! Lady Ursa presents her blessing to Katara!
I would explain every bit of meaning I had going with this, but I like leaving it up to the viewer to guess.

I LOVE the necklace at the top, the design of the light on the ribbon is just gorgeous. Katara's expression is cutesy, too.

Ah, sorry for the belated response! In Ursa's hand is the necklace that is shown at the top of the picture. It is a her gift to Katara.

I was never at all into all those stupid pairings(they almost ruined the show) But with Zuko, Anyone would have been better then Mai. I MEAN THE BOY HAD OPTIONS. Besides Mai reminds me of Molotov from Venture Brothers

LOL! I know... I've noticed that any kind of show, whether it has any kind of romance in it orginally or not, will usually fall prey to pairing for the sake of fans. Although it can be fun to play hookups for the kicks of it, sometimes it can also get out of hand!

This is just sad, but the farthest I got with Avatar was the end of Book 1: Water
I gotta start bumming the DVDs from my friend again, cuz now all of Book 2: Earth is out.
Is Book 3 Wind or Fire? I would think they would save Fire for last, but I could be wrong!

It's not sad. Lots of people are in the same boat. Seen a few episodes and still catching up that is. The third book is Fire (exciting!) and they did say that this would be last book, but at the anime convention in ... I think September (??), Mike mumbled something about a continuation. He had to mumble so people wouldn't quote him I guess. -_-
Also, there'll be a movie coming out too with real people. I have no idea how that's going to be, but Mike and Bryan (creators of Avatar) are going to be coaching the director along.

And actually that makes a lot of sense about Fire being the last one, since Aang's already mastered airbending pretty much there's really no need for that book.
But avatar's so popular, I'm almost sure it'll continue past the defeat of Ozai and the Fire Nation!
That is unbelievably cool news to hear there might be a live-action movie. I'm personally very interested to see who might play Azula or even Iroh
