asked for a drawing with Ursa and Katara, perhaps after Zuko joins the gang.
I hope you like your pressie! Lady Ursa presents her blessing to Katara!
I would explain every bit of meaning I had going with this, but I like leaving it up to the viewer to guess.

The necklace brooch is fabulous! It absolutely glows! I love the light coming in from the window. It's very natural. I think my favorite part is Ursa's expression. She's wise and almost matronly.

I love wisdom, and I admire Iroh for his wisdom as well. Ursa seems wise to me because she protected her son in a way that saved his life, even if it meant her own banishment. T_T I guess that's wisdom with a bowl of selfless love.

My favorite american cartoon! I love how Mike and Bryan have a more "realistic" approach. All from the drawing style to personalities. So much drama.
