*Full View Plz*Because I'm in a Discworld kick again and Guards! Guards! is one of the finest in the collection (In my humble opinion) I spent a good chunk of my shift at work today doodling up head shots ... and Errol. Because... who doesn't love big nostriled dragons?
All in all I'm very pleased. Vimes ("Vimes. With a Vee. ") looks more like my mind's eye sees him. Lady Sybil I'm sure could be a bit plumper and less gussied up. Errol I'm pleased with completely. Nobby Nobbs... he's how I see 'em so... guess that's good. Weird little dude.
Carrot's adorable... and if I ever have the desire to draw Travis as a human he'd look exactly like Carrot. And Sgt. Colon is Sgt. Colon. Huzzah.
Humans.
I also drew Angua. But she's not in Guards! Guards! So... she's not allowed.

Once again, great job on all these sketches. I'm probably never going to get a chance to read the Discworld stories, but I DO like the detail going into these pieces of fan art. :-D Thanks greatly for sharing this with us.

I've never even heared of the Discworld siries. and so I don't know any of these characters. but so far I really like Sybil. finaly a leading lady who isn't anorexic but plump and lovely.

And the Discworld books have been around since the eighties, they've really only gotten better and better as the years passed and aren't reliant on each other. Meaning you could pick up one of the newest ones and read it and not feel lost. They're all pretty much stand alone apart from the fact that there are certain batches of reoccuring characters.... like these characters are the "Watch" (The Discworld's largest city's police force) and there are quite a few books about them. If you ever have the opportunity to read one I can't reccomend them highly enough.
Eep. Sorry ... I get passionate about spreading the Discworld gospel. ;D
