These tiny skeksis heads were drawn to sum up characters, canon and O'c's.In this case, as it has been drawn partially to belong to a possible fanlisting, there are the ten canon skeksis present in the novel and Movie The Dark Crystal, and two O'C's: SkekKel the Counselor, who belongs to and SkekLa the Illustrator, who belongs to me

I can see SkekNa as a demonic pirate, SkekTek in Jurassic Park 2:The Lost World, SkekEkt as Marie Antoinette, SkekSil in the same era, SkekShod as a monk from another dimension, SkekOk working in a medieval castle as a scroll keeper surrounded by dust. SkekSo also in Jurassic Park. SkekZok in nothing but The Dark Crystal. SkekUng and SkekKel only in The Dark Crystal. SkekLa in Grimm (I love that series! There's something about your OC's face expression and hair that remind me of Bree Turner who plays Rosaliee).

Looking at the Gourmand reminded me of a question I wanted to ask. I know you have talked about how the "crawlies" from the movie taste (sweet and creamy IIRC) but would the food of the Skeksis be appealing to humans by and large? "Hot spices, sweet liqueurs, and cream-rich sauces" don't sound half bad

¿Los diseños de los personajes que no aparecen en la película, son canon?

Nope: uno, SkekKel, pertenece a y el otro, SkekLa, es mio! ^^
Son respectivamente Skekkel, el Consejero, y SkekLa el Ilustrador...dos skeksis hechos por nosotras...mi SkekLa aparece en varios de mis comics para ir mezclándolo con los demás sin que salga de la nada, y le daré más contexto en una historieta seria, de unas 9 páginas, que ya estoy haciendo y pronto empezaré a subir, junto con las otras cosas! ^^

De los muertos canon tengo la lista (soy MUY nerrd)
Los dos primeros en morir, que no vivieron mas que unos segundos tras la division de los urskeks (fueron creados y murieron a los pocos minutos cuando un skeksis ( El Emperador?...el general?...fué uno especialmente grandote y agresivo aunque el comic oficial que contiene esa historia los dibuja a todos tan IGUALES que no he podido estar segura...)mató a dos misticos, causando asi sus muertes)
Ésos dos primeros en morir eran SkekYi (sin título canon) y SkekHak el Mecánico (Machinist)
Los que quedaron pero se fueron muriendo con el tiempo antes de la peli fueron
SkekLach el Coleccionista
SkekLi el Satirista (poeta)
SkekVar el General (título que luego ostenta SkekUng que era posiblemente Amo e las Bestias o Domador)
SkekMal el Cazador
SkekCru el Marino
SkekEer el Maestro de los espías
y eso es todo, amigos!...
Aunque...se dice que fueron 18, pero lo cierto es que de algunos de los canon se sabe poco y nada!...nada me impedia meter a mi bichito alli en la corte...XD...Nada excepto el copyright, pero como no voy a comercializar las historietas, pues...

Muchas gracias por la información. Está bien por un lado que expliquen esas cosas, pero por otro se queda corto en cuanto a explicaciones... Tiene bemoles que en los comics no se diferencien los Skeksis unos de otros. Por cierto, ¿Ahí sale el aspecto que tenían de jóvenes?
En cuanto al resto de los que fueron muriendo, parece que se fueron rotando los puestos de unos a otros: tiene gracia que SkekEer fuera el maestro de espías cuando parece que el Chambelan también lo es.
En cuanto a tu personaje, entonces hay hueco para meterlo, no? Porque aunque se sepan los títulos, no hacen el número total de Skeksis.

Si...allí se ven todos demasiado clavaditos unos a otros, en las escenas que yo he visto en que son recien creados, jovenes...
Imposibles de diferenciar...
Sipi...sale, pero se contradice con las ideas originales que estan escritas del tiempo de la peli...
En las ideas originales de la produccion, se suponia que los skeksis eran criaturas MUY brillantes, coloridas, ágiles y tenian pelo y plumas en algunos lugares de sus cuerpos en ese entonces...
Mas o menos como los he pintado, basandome en lo que estaba escrito...
Pero en esos comics los diseños son asi:

Sirecuerdo que esos abanicos que ellos usaban en sus manos menores para parecer mas bellos se mencionaban...pero aqui no veo ni plumas ni pelo ni tanto colorido...

Sí...eran supuestamente 18 skeksis originalmente...y el Chambelán parece encantado de sustituír parcialmente al espía XD
Mi bichito tiene sitio, seguramente...ya veremos si puedo convertirle en un personaje creíble...y aún querible...para ser un skeksis, bah

I love this because its a great reference for any artist to use so they know all the skeksis names as they are never mentioned in the film only their titles.

No, not really, I believe I drew them in about an hour and a half...on the other hand I got so used to these guy's forms that I do not use references any longer...but this is after spending a whole year drawing them, and a whole life loving them!...
