This is just an update of the skeksis oc chart I did for christmas (sorry!!! I did't edit the title engraved into the drawing: bad me! I was lazy...)I needed to add some skeksis I had shamefully forgotten u///u: SkekZal, SkekGok, SkekArra, SkekLiat and SkekMeh!
Also, two quite new skeksis are featured here now!
They're namely SkekWol, and SkekQuinn: I hope you'll all like these two new "girls" and hope their creators will think I made them justice!
THERE THEY ARE NOW!!!
And the list grows ever longer!!!
I hope you'll all enjoy this update! ^^

Indeed it could! if all fancharacters made basexd on skeksis were joined in a single story, we´d definitely get a sense of them being an entire natural species for said A.U ^^
These are all characters from different fan-creators, it was really fun to draw so many ^^

Heh I do have an AU where Skeksis and UrRu are real species with lifespans, cultures, towns and villages, etc, it's called Natives AU and I often say any Skeksis and UrRu OC could fit in it XD

Picture this: the Skeksis prosper for a good long while but they begin to suffer from low fertility rates, fewer childbirths, stillbirths, etc. The Emperor dies, the first natural death that they can remember, the General beats the Chamberlain in the Trial by Stone and banishes him and his family. The General-Emperor then sets to work on ensuring that his race recovers their former vitality.

That´d be a rich scenario to work with indeed! ^^
Very different from the one I´m actually elaborating (since the AU I actualluy work at has only one exceeding skeksis from what we see in canon, and another at which I collaborate only bears four new ones) but I have to say the possibilities for conflict on a world with such plot as you imagined would easily bring up a saga concerning familiar disputes between skeksis, power strife between major groups, and lots of sub plots ^^

I love comprehensive list's and charts. This MUST be in every Dark Crystal lovers library of image, this really makes mr wish I was connected to UrRu Oc community, it would be
among my greatest honors to do something like this.

I think you could perfectly well try to get more UrRu fans ad gather them under a kind of fellowship like we skeksis fans have! ^^ it literally surged in a spontaneous way! ^^ why not an UrRu one? ^^
I bet you could find others who would be glad to recreate the UrRu with charecters of their own and you'd make a truly beautifullest list of fan characters from their creations! ^^
