Great shot! Almost all the fireworks images I got that night were blurry as heck. The cameras I used were low quality. I was upset because my camera that got stolen would have worked just fine. But, anyways, like I said, this is great. Beautiful.

The best part is that it really wasn't coordinated! XD Rick, Ginger, and I were outside enjoying the fireworks when a gentleman came up to us and said that he would love to have photos of our Hellsing group with the fireworks in the background. He found an area with very few people and started to shoot photos with his camera. I then asked him to take a few with my camera (because it has tremendously fast shutter capabilities

That's how I felt for years; I was absolutely broke and incredibly frustrated with the fact that I could only afford to keep a point-and-shoot when I dreamt of something better. I just got the camera I use now a few months ago (After Anime Boston; all of the digital cameras I used before that was point-and-shoot. I used film SLRs before that, so it's quite a jump for me, but I love it. XD)
Luckily, there are lots of semi-affordable DSLR camera models now that take gorgeous photos! You can even get a consumer-grade DSLR camera and invest in a great lens later for improved quality photos. The sky's the limit and luckily, it's easier to find a camera on a budget now than it was years ago.

Seems like a great investment for the amount of beautiful pictures you take :0). I think I'm going to have to tough it out until I get a real job but that's definitely on the top of the list of "I have a legit job now and I want to buy TOYS!"

It's the bloody Major again. He was playing with the fireworks I bought him for his birthday. He's too excited to blow up England so he sets them off every now and again just to get my blood boiling. Oh Major.. *shakes head* Though I must say, they light up the sky quite lovely. At least he's not using the real stuff..... yet. hahaha
