I'm so excited to have debuted my Sailor Neptune costume this past weekend! Throughout the entire year, I've been gushing at the seams over the newest season of Sailor Moon Crystal. The Infinity/"S" arc is my absolute favorite, very much because of the Outer Senshi and Neptune in particular. Growing up in a world that wasn't completely aware or accepting of gay people, watching Neptune and Uranus' healthy relationship play out in Sailor Moon was inspiring to me. It let me know that being who I am and loving as I do is not only okay, but also beautiful. Watching her in Sailor Moon Crystal this past season brought me the same joy as it did when I was 14 and I couldn't be happier that they brought her and Uranus back into the series again.

As for this picture, took the photo while my skirt flowing in the wind at the perfect moment, then edited in the magic and rose petals. It's a dream come true image! The costume was made by me with a few bought and modified pieces. The skirt, hip rolls and sleeves, bows, collar, choker, and glove rolls were made by me, while the leotard was purchased and then modified. The tiara and planet earrings are by Catzia and the pendant was made by The Pendant Peddler on etsy.
