Pyrox have a massive amount of heat in the souls of their feet which posseses them to hop uncontrolably. Because of this annoying heat, Pyrox shoot fireballs to release their rage.

Keep in mind that this is my first attempt to critique Fakémon so I may try and criticize things that are intentional and necessary.
You have definitely succeeded in making him cuter. In fact, you might want to tweak your old picture to become an evolved form of this drawing right here. The older one definitely seems to be stronger and at a higher level while this one looks much weaker and younger.
However, if you were really wanting a 'cute' look, then I think you may not have succeeded. I think it works well for a fire Pokémon, but your Pokémon looks far more mischievous than cute to me. Maybe if you want to change you could consider changing the eye color. Something about the red looks evil and maybe orange or yellow would make him look nicer while preserving the fact that it is a fire Pokémon.
I also must say that I generally like your shading style. You do a good job defining that your light source is coming from the left side of the paper. You also do a good job making your Pokémon look three-dimensional, a task that can be quite difficult.

hm...yellow eyes...that does sound like a good idea. I wanted to shade from orange to red...but i had a lack of orange colored pencils...i had to use mango lol. When i get more pencils i will deffinitely change the eye color since it looks the same color as the nose. It feels good to get some honest criticism =] thank you very much!

I will say that I really enjoy my 48 set of prismacolors. I like having almost any color I could want and I can replace individual pencils as they wear down. However, I do understand that the set is too expensive to buy when there is no good reason to buy them. Also, not everyone is like me and has a brother that had a set that was sneakily passed down to the younger generation.
If you do want a big set of prismacolors though, I will tell you the technique that Mrs. G suggest. If you are going somewhere with a Hobby Lobby, check Hobby Lobby's website. They will sometimes have a coupon for like 50% off any one item in the store. Using this on prismacolors can save a fortune. However, I have not personally tried this so I do not know how effective it is or how common the sales are.
