I have never seen Naruto (yet another thing on my need-to-watch list), but I really like the look of this. The gray background against the bright red color of the eye. I love how you were able to put the symbol in there and have it still look like a functioning eye.

Whoa, this looks really realistic too! The textures are amazing and the iris is incredibly detailed. Something I would suggest, however, is to make the image a bit brighter. It's pretty hard to see the way it is, which is a shame with all the wonderful texturing you have. When I looked at this from the thumbnail, I thought it was a very simple digitally painted eye; I only noticed any details at all viewing it from full screen. With stronger lighting you'd be able to highlight how realistic this looks more easily. I also didn't notice the tear at all until I read the description (bit dark to see!). Lighting aside, I think you did an awesome job on the modelling itself

The texture on the eye and pupil are lovely, really great render! My only critique would be those bottom eyelashes - they're a bit too erratic to look lifelike.

I'm not an expert on 3D modeling (but I wish I was!) so I can't give you any constrictive criticism, but I can tell you that I really like all the shine, the veins and the details on the eyeball. The iris also looks totally badass and very anime-ish!

I love the textures! The eye, the skin, the eyelashes, it's amazing that everything has it's own texture and realistic look, that makes this image really strong! Great job on it! Also the reflection in the eye is amazing!
