This is actually my first tutorial involving Photoshop. I've always used it for all kinds of purposes, but here is a tutorial for cleaning up lineart. Not just for anime either. You can have linearts for other things too, not just anime/manga style! This is not the only way to do this, there are many other possibilities. This one is quick and easy and I found it out by reading an Adobe Photoshop manual, and I figured, hey that'd be good to delete a massload of things in your art.
Such as, the white in the lineart.My tutorial ain't that great. But
still, don't take the images in it.This is for AgataKa19.
Now make me a watercolour tutorial, my lovely~!

One question.
When I lock transparancy pixels and try to change the color of the lineart, more than just the lineart's color changes. Is there a reason for this? I have adobe photoshop cs4.

Hay thanks for putting this up, it really saved me alot of time and a head ach! All my friends kept telling me to use the dreaded pen tool -shutter- for the line art, but like I said, this seriously worked great for me! ^_^

Most easyest way of doing it- shame my adobe elements 2 doesn't have channels but I had a try with photoshop cs trail and it worked like a charm
