Well.
Um.
I saw this picture and it, well, I believe the technical term is "hit me right in the feels." So, naturally, I wrote a fan fic for it (which makes it a fan fic of a fan art of a fan fic of a video of a game, holy mackeral). And because my brain apparently works like this, it ended up going in an entirely different direction from what is implied here.
So I'm, ah, uncertain as the proper protocol for these situations. Do you want to read it? (because, goodness, why on earth would you want to read my ridiculousness, I certainly wouldn't and I'm *me*.) I will of course cite your beautiful piece of art when I post it--and thank you for it, bruised feels and all.

When I said I went in a different direction...well, it's in a *really* different direction. It's because your aforementioned feel-punching picture made my patheit OTP-loving brain immediately hold its hands over its ears and sing happy songs and refuse to believe that something like that could ever possibly happen. So instead I thought, 'well, why would Sniper ever hug the enemy Spy of all people neither of them are exactly huggy people and especially why would he if they weren't already in a relationship because if they were in a relationship and Spy was stabbing him nope nope nope nope.' And then that collided with something I read once, and well, this happened.
For now I'm posting it at tf2chan. net on the Fanfiction text board, under the name "What's a Little Hug Between Enemies?" I'd be...er...*interested* to hear what you think.
