I appreciate that even though his fur is only one shade, you can still tell by his body and fur that he's not just a random wolf.

PS is an amazing program. I wouldn't live without it XD
But I've heard it's almost the exact same as Gimp, at least for digital artists. I've never really used Gimp (its so confusing to me, who's used PS for 4 years), but the brushes are pretty much the same. You get better features and more tools in PS, though.
