Description
Earth scientists are puzzled by some of the features shown in this extraordinary satellite photograph of an area close to the Mongolian border, particularly as they have only appeared since the previous pass a little over two years ago.Absolutely needs full view!

It looks like the inside of a rock, in a geology sense, a very rich compound rock. Amazing!

The variety in the shapes is amazing! It's a bit dark, but apart from that, I love how the entire piece just works.

It is a little dark in places, but I allowed that to 'pop' the lighter areas. It's great how the different parts of the glynnia pattern pick up different areas of the gradient!
