Description
Inspired by ~banana-tree 's recent 'fractal backgrounds' and timed to coincide with my poll [link] this was created entirely using the bent2 plugin.31 days in December: Day 9

Apologies for the late reply - I really should do a tutorial for these 'abstract' styles. I'm assuming you're familiar with Apo, so begin by creating a basic Sierpinski tile then fully substituting the linear for bent2. After that, rotate the xforms and adjust the bent2 params to get that 'scratchy' look - some I even took down to zero on this one.

Oh right, then the learning curve is considerable. The good news is that it's free! I've already cherry-picked a list of useful resources for my own website [link] Begin with the installation package plus latest beta executable. I also happen to be writing a blog about learning the program - just a surface-skimmer, but you may find it useful [link]

It's the parameterised version of bent and allows for compression to a line in x or y. At default, it's basically linear

We appear to be in a long hall with dark doors and shadows but with a precious light making the scene
delicate and attractive.... I overdid things a bit there.
I like it!

Yes! I really like this style too and it should be hung as a painting! Lovely.

Likin' the title and the little black abscesses showing through. This looks like a painting, as some of your other work does. Great work, bud'!

I tried filling in the gaps a little, but I preferred the balance like this
