How the hell did I miss THIS? I LOVE how the new cartoon pulled off Splinter - and his VOICE. And the fact that he's somewhat of a smart ass. I'm a traditionalist for the most part, but I HUGELY approve of how they play him. Grown up me likes very, very much!

Well, initially, Splinter was very slender and raggedy. I wasn't never fond of the raggedy - but slender - it satisfies that 'canon' loving part of me.
The cartoon one is STILL - attractive though...

I DO like them - they remind me of a story about a precision robot that was very slender and beautiful - he was like a clockwork piece and very beloved of the town, and treated like a person, until outsiders destroyed him. I don't remember the name of the book - I was little.
