It surprised me a photo related to Paganfest (or anything that is metal) was featured! I think folk metal is one of the best music around, so woot!
Hmm Paganfest. I went there last year. I considered going this year as well, seeing the great lineup (Heidevolk, Moonsorrow, Eluveitie and Korpiklaani 
This picture made me listen to this band. Thanks for making me discover yet another great band
I am not a professional photographer, neither have I much experience with shooting at concerts but I can tell this has a great energetic and powerful mood. The light beams and the pose make it absolutely complete.

One: Taking good pictures at a live metal fest can get quite difficult, but this is one AMAZING shot!!!!

Well, sometimes it's even impossible to make a picture at a metal festival if it's in a dark little club. For exmple I shot the previous Paganfest in 2010 and it was much darker there. As a result I got just about 50 or 60 pictures in total and I don't really like even one single shot.

You can expect as much with the closed vicinity and also sometimes with the fog machines. The concerts here in India, however few they maybe

The photopits really solve the problem. Is there any music press in India? Get the journalists and photographers accredited for the gigs and festivals?

If in music press you mean magazines, yes there are a few for the locals bands here which also focus on the international scene like Rolling Stone India and Rock Street Journal magazines. They have their own photographers and sometimes hire freelancers who could fill in. However, the metal scene here is quite bland, and the only time we get excited is when an international (read as "famous") band comes here.

I don't know if you know that, but "Arafel" in hebrew means Fog, and that's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this picture. This picture really fits the band.
Anyway, the lights on this one are great and the picture is awesome!
