Finally it's done!one of the best animes i have seen so far just aired this season (spring 2013). It's name is Shingeki no Kyojin and omg....i mean the storyline/telling is so different to what i normally see and humans are so mortal. One single misstake and the soldiers are titan-food.
as i am following just the anime i am pushing myself really hard not to read the manga and don't get myself spoiled everywhere..
SPOILERS ARE EVERYWHERE!!!! it almost makes me sick xD
but this drawing was so much work...even the sketch took me 3 hours(?) and afterwards when i did it in SAI it was really hard to get all the 3-dimensional gear right, BUT i think it worked out and i am happy with the result^^

This is my new favorite anime, it's too amazing to not be and I'm only on ep10 right now. Gonna get done with the subs so I can prepare for the dub on Toonami next weekend! Looking forward to it~

I hope they dub it soon, I don't want to watch it quite enough to watch the subs but I might just have to give in if it doesn't happen soon. I don't really want to get into why I don't like subs but one simple reason is that I want to be looking at what's happening and have my full attention on the animation rather than always being distracted.Β

I grant you the voices are sometimes weird but that can be said for the original voice cast as well, the reason I prefer dubs is solely so I can keep my eye on what's going on rather than having to look at the bottom of the screen the whole time. It also makes it so that if I'm so inclined I can do something else with the show minimized and I won't be missing everything. Honestly every character could be voice by the guy that played Pee Wee Herman (in character as Herman) and I would still prefer it over subs. I read books to read, I watch shows to watch, not to read.Β

The only issue I see with the picture are the crenelations in the Wall (I assume it's Rose in this pic, not that it matters). I can't say the specific reason why, but those things would not have been put in when the Walls were first built, and the Wall Cult would have denied any attempt to put in battlements like that. They would have used violence if necessary.
Now, onto the compliments, this is really good. I almost thought you had read the manga, due to who you chose to fight the Colossal Titan and how you drew said Titan. No, this does not mean that the other potential fighters die, and no it does not mean they fight the Colossal like this later on. Excellent job, the lighting and posing really gives it a sense of realism (if you ignore the fact that it's anime). Well done indeed.
