Finally, Poison is here!!Despite I like Poison so much this is first time I draw her. Because Capcop continues to confuse people with her gender.
It is really feeling discomfort, since they keep try to fool us under name of commercial even though she is 100 percent female. So I always had sad feeling as much as I like her. It hurts a lot just to love her...
Any-way, I keep my place as I believe she has never been a male or what-so-ever.
Recently sir.nishitani akira commented she is cleary female. Well, that cheers me up. Thank you.

Nice work, I always wondered when you'd make an illustration of Poison, after seeing the many other beautiful fanarts of beatemup bad girls, but understand your mixed feelings about her. I agree most with Akira Yasuda's quote "it's up to the viewer to decide".

I've always had a weakness for Poison. I'll always remember the Final Fight cabinet in the arcade I used to go to had her right on the side of it, like she was the main attraction. I think her lasting legacy is proof that for a lot of people she was. I think her simple design ignited a lot of imaginations.

Yeah, people are way too caught up in silly rumors from the past. However, you also have those folks that have weird fetishes and are into that kind of stuff, which explains why some are vocal defenders of that nonsense.

People who WANT Poison to be a tranny/whatever, because they're weird fucks who like that. They use every excuse they can, even if you point them at evidence that Poison isn't.
But if it's the English phrase you want to understand a "vocal defender" is someone who is outspoken when they are trying to support a particular position or view.
