OK, I found out about her here, on DA. And... I don't understand one thing: If she is a clone of Wolverine, why isn't she a 'He'? I don't recall any cloning technology that allows to change sex and gender in any of Sci-Fi genres.

Doctor Sarah Kinney was tasked with creating a clone of Wolverine. Using the only available genetic sample from Wolverine, which was damaged, they were unable to salvage the Y chromosome after 22 attempts. Kinney then proposed they create a female clone, and though her request was initially denied, she still went ahead and produced a viable female subject.
After that Sarah Kinney acted as an surrogate mother to Laura Kinney, known as X-23.
