As I said in my journal, this is just a portion of a future deviation, which I probably will not finish for a while due to college having started. I happened to have completely finished drawing/coloring Sonic the Werehog, but none of the other characters in the final product yet.But you all can deal with him standing alone for now, right? If it wasn't already apparent, I have to say I loved Sonic the Werehog, both design-wise and gameplay-wise in Sonic Unleashed. Maybe I'm one of the few, hm, but oh well! He's the coolest mutated freak ever. But hard to draw!
This was outlined with a pencil, with some heavy, heavy Photoshop edits, and colored in PS too of course. I kind of tried to make it look like artwork from an anime, trying to closely follow Sonic X's coloring style (which is basically Yuji Uekawa's coloring style simplified).
I know the shoes = major fail. I couldn't wrap my brain around how to exactly shade those darn spikes on his shoes, or even draw them correctly. Sigh...
I hope to finish the final product as soon as I can find time!

i actually like this, very nice sonic x style coloring. i got quite used to the werehog, i had no complaints about it, at some point it started getting fun lol

The coloring is great. The shoes are not a fail they are quite good actually and everything is fantastic. But he looks a little fat... I'll give it 4.5 stars :3

I thought the werehog was pretty okay but the levels were REALLY annoying after like the first 3 XD; but recently me and my girlfriend have gotten obsessed with Sonic Unleashed again XD so much that our characters live in Apotos

Why does no-one seem to like the Werehog though?
I wasn't TOO fond of the design but he's alright compared to some altered forms of characters.
After all, Mephiles was just a shadow recolour at first.
