Description
Here are some photos my aunt took while she was an exchange student in USA in 1986. I want to know the names of the orcas in SeaWorld San Diego in 1986 for some reason I know that in Marineland there were Orky II, Corky II and Bubbles the pilot whale and some bottlenose dolphins. It was really fun to watch these quite old photos from SeaWorld and Marineland I was surprised how good these photos are and I'm glad my aunt took them!
I was also surprised when I realized that Corky is 47 years old! I'd love to see her some day, though I'm not big fan of keeping orcas in captivity :/
Edit: Apparently they are Kasatka and Kandu V

Marineland of the Pacific has beenΒ closed in late 80's before sending both orcas include Orky II and Corky II, Bubbles the Pilot whale and a bottlenose dolphin, and/or other marine animals to SeaWorld in San Diego.
But in fatal thoughts, by the year 1987, Orky has landed and injured on John Sillick as he rides on Nootka's back during the show and especially before he died on following years (and it's not just John, but Orky's did.). And in the year 1989, after Orky's passed away, Corky's been injured and/raked by dominant orca named Kandu V from Iceland, (as she's shown on above) in which is caused by blow broked her jaw and then she's bleeding herself to death by sinking herself on bottom of the pool along with her calf Orkid as she's swim on her side.
That was the end of the story between Orky and Corky from Marineland of the Pacific as well.

I read that Marineland has been closed since 1987 and that the whales were sent to San Diego but thats all I knew. Thank you for telling me some of their history

I think the top three photos would be of Kasatka (foreground of 2 and 3) and Kandu V (foreground in 1).

Oh thanks! When I tried to find out their names using Google Kasatka and Kandu V seemed to be fitting. I also tried to compare the eye patches to other photos of Kasatka and Kandu. Thank you, I think you're right

Process of elimination: mentioning the photos were taken in 1986, only four female orcas were present there at the time: Kasatka, Kandu V, Kenau, and Knootka. Kasatka is pretty recognizable. Whereas Kandu is identifiable because as Knootka's eyepatch (too small) doesn't match the first photo, nor does Kenau's jawline (lacks its distinctive 'arch').
Cool collage of photos to look at. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, I don't know very much of individual orcas though I'd like to learn I've seen orcas once in Loro Parque and I can't remember anything because I have bad memory and it was in 2007. At least I've got these photos now
