This is good work. Good thing you weren't up 30 degrees to the glasses... seeing as you've shot martini glasses you know just how... horrible things can become when you're at odd angles to them~

there's a sentence that i remember very clearly..in english it goes something like this "To take pictures of glass object is like playing with explosives, you don't do it if you're not a pro". you've done very good! maybe this frame is a little disturbing, but otherwise you've done wonderful again. thank you for the photography brilliancy!

what do you use for a set, or back ground, what ever you want to call it. I'm interested in doing some shots like this for a portfolio i wish to build.

well, I used, what photographers call, seamless, basically a long and wide white paper on a table. Two Arri lights turned towards the background, so the light is actually reflected from the background. Good luck with your portfolio...
