Transition to BlackThese wings once white and shining
Have failed me this one last time
I shall let the blood now tainted
Seep through my sin pierced heart
And once the blackness enters
My soul once pure and simple
Shall feel the hatred for fallacy
You that I had not killed
Have six more days to live
For my transition to dark
Shall be by then complete

Third pic in my Revolt Against GOD series.. I used a different coloring theme as the mood in this piece is much different from the previous two (oou, darker..).
I. Corrupt Angel
II. Bloodshed of Kin
Theme (or something like that): It's the same angel as the one who appeared in the previous two images actually. There's two reasons I named this Transition to Black: (1) there is a change within the angel's heart, the darkness in her soul has reached its limit; (2) her feathered wings once white are turning to black demon wings.
And if you're wondering why she's in an egg.. To me eggs represent birth or in this case 're-'birth, hehe.
As for the poem, most of it is quite clear, there's just the last part, she might be making a reference to that angel she was slaughtering (O_O) in Bloodshed of Kin or just the angels in general.. XD (I don't hate angels!!!)
I forgot to mention that the coloring took forever!!! Ok, so I tend to complain endlessly, but y'know.. It was mostly the wings actually o_O Me and going through one feather at a time.. that has got to change people! M'yes, I will try to vary things in the future

This reminds me of that picture you did in your close to recent submissions with the Reaper having his scythe at the reborn angel and to say a vow of sorts. Do the two relate? or are they connected? *chuckles* nonetheless, this is still a damn good picture ^_^ and the dark coloring rawks! (I'm gonna be saying that more often XD)

Very good..the writing is beautiful.The only thing I see wrong is the frame cuts a little off the top which isnt a very big deal

amazing concept!! really liek hte way her body is turning black aswell as th wings.
the wings fit the shell thing very nicly. gives her that feeling of being imprisoned and hte rocks/ground add to that also.
scary eyes too

You'll find this one comment a lot more blunt than my normal ones, a combinaison of me not having much to say, me being dearly sick and me seeing you tomorow afternoon for deutsch Class Damn, there was a Hausofgabe to do or something again wasn't there? *melodramatic sigh*
So, points I may deeper later on: Weapon!hair, lightsource?, nice egg, nice rocks, nice poem, maybe I would've liked a white to black gradiant on her wings from where the slim/evilness is touching it, hm softer neck-to-shoulder transition, okay so yes I see now what this have to do in the revanche against God lot ,sorry 'bout that, and I kinda miss the nice wavy border-corner brush there is on the two previous pics of this serie, and finally good job.

K, she has no weapon! XD hair and lightsource? o_O The light is coming from the front mostly. I've never tried white to black gradient thingies for shading, maybe next time.. teach me! I do harsh neck to shoulder transitions.. bleh, I'll change that next time! (Finally,) What wavy border? o_O

Really, the coloring might have been tedious but I'm sure you noticed that the result really was worth the time

The meticulous attention to detail you put into this piece really shows. It gives the wings a much greater sense of depth and life. I love the white highlights you added to everything within the egg. Gives it a sense of being inside of glass or some reflective material like it. Would you ever sell this as a print?
