Description
The Sentry-class frigate, also known as the "beam frigate" for its quad forward plasma cannon array, is a fast attack vessel that punches well above its weight. Their speed and maneuverability, and punch, makes them excellent as escort vessels, give fleet commanders the ability to quickly adapt combat strategies to changing situations, and make them excellent commerce raiders, either independently or in small squadrons. However, they are not well armored, and have often been considered "glass cannons."
