Description
I asked her once how she withstood the biting cold of the wind at such high altitudes."When I fly, I am closer to the Sun than you have ever been," she replied. "How could I possibly be cold?"
Enjoy, and let me know what you think.
The background on this is from CGtextures.com. It's a site of free textures and you don't need to attribute (similar to daz and rendo items) as long as you're not reselling them.

Looks nice. Sorry if I do not get the context, but it is reminiscent of Magic the Gathering to be (both the quote and image).

It's actually part of a steampunk roleplaying game I'm developing in my spare time. Outside of this very proper Victorian-age society there will be these renagade counterculturalist/anarchists living in a mountain range who rely heavily on steampunk air vehicles (ornithopters, etc.).

Looking good
Techno wizard flight suit maybe? Fly as the Eagle and Resist cold. (Yes my gamer is showing)
Beautiful as always.
btw you don't happen to have a kreegor body model do you?

no, I worked out a passable Arkhon, but the Kreeghor is just a bit beyond me. I'd need Zbrush and something that did rigging and I'd have to make it from the skeleton up.

I think that despite the sun, you would freeze your but off and she would get a sun burn. But I need to show this to a friend of mine, she loves steampunk a whole lot.
