Description
This sculpture is of an African grey parrot, one of my favorite birds.
This tiny sculpture is about 2 and 1/8 inches tall. It is made from original white Sculpy polymer clay over a wire armature painted with acrylics. The eyes are glass painted on the back. Download the full view for more detail.
Commissions are closed at the moment. I do not know when I might reopen them. I will post it in my journal when I do.

That is simply precious! When I married him, my husband had a grey he had raised practically from an egg, and while a lot of work and mess, she was really fascinating and highly intelligent. Please let me know if you make one of these for sale.

aldhjgajdfbrga! I'm at a loss for words. Absolutely, just wonderfully, adorable. This made me squee and tell my fiance 'I want him!" haha.
We have 3 real parrots at home, and have had friends and family with African Grey's whom are always wonderful birds.
This is really cute, and so inspiring to me as a fellow clay-using artist. I thought about making a parrot sculpt before, but was worried about
the feathers. Maybe I should just go for it anyway.

I don't know how you make simple clay and paint look this lifelike and full of character and feeling. This grey parrot is so pretty and so adorable from every angle. Your work always make me smile, every time. What a wonderful feeling to convey with your work! I love looking at it so much.
