Description
This sculpture is of an African grey parrot, one of my favorite birds.
This tiny sculpture is about 2 and 1/8 inches tall. It is made from original white Sculpy polymer clay over a wire armature painted with acrylics. The eyes are glass painted on the back. Download the full view for more detail.
Commissions are closed at the moment. I do not know when I might reopen them. I will post it in my journal when I do.

AHHH! I love this!! It looks just like my Henry... only this bird has a slightly more angelic look than my little devil. Very creative and beautiful work here. It has realistic elements while still being very obviously whimsical and fun.

Daw, it looks so cute and fluffy--and distinctly parrot-like. I say this because my family owns a few parrots, and they definitely have distinct personalities--and so does this sculpture. It actually reminds me of the birds from "Rio", and how they move.
