Description
These are sculptures of hands I made to represent the seven stages of life. I made it for a school project so it was kind of rushed. I only worked on painting them on Saturday evening. I sculpted them on the tiny bits of free time I had throughout the last couple weeks or so.They were made with original Sculpy polymer clay then painted with acrylic paint. They are life-size.

These hands look amazing.
Such a great concept and wonderful study of human anatomy throughout a lifetime.
I love the oldest hand especially. You captured the skin and veins in such a lifelike way, which I imagine to be an even greater challenge than the younger hands.

Personally I think these are beautiful and definitely would make a great gift to be sold in places like Jewellery stores etc. Along side some of the nonsense they have there yours would shine through from a mile off!

Lovely, a great idea too. Is there a wire skeleton in these, or are they just solid clay?

Thanks! It's a solid piece of clay. I might have made a wire skeleton for it if I had more time lol
