You were dreaming, dreaming about a better life. Your were living without a care in the dream but all too soon, like everything else in your life it turned into darkness. A nightmare. You felt hot with sweat, you wanted to scream but you couldn't all you could do was laugh....... Then you did scream, this scream woke you up and you noticed you were laying down on a couch in front of a fireplace. "Are you ok miss?" Said a voice.

You moved you (e/c) eyes in the direction of the voice, there stood an older man with a tray of food in his hands. "Where am I?" you ask your voice still shaking from your nightmare.

"Wayne Manor dear, Bruce Wayne house."

"Bruce Wayne." you whispered to yourself, you were in the house of a millionaire no billionaire THE billionaire himself. "Why am I here?" You ask Alfred.

"Because Master Wayne thought you needed a place to stay." Alfred said.

"Well I'm sorry but I can't stay here so thanks for getting me out of the road but I'm going to go now." You said as you walked passed Alfred. You could see the door, mainly because it was so damn large but also because it was right out side of the living area, there was also a stair way to the side of the entry way. You had placed your hand on the door when you had heard a voice from behind you and it wasn't Alfred's.

"Going somewhere?" the voice asked. You turn to find yourself face to face with Bruce Wayne.

"Yeah I was planing on leaving." You said looking up at him, you noticed he was at least a foot taller then you.

"Really because I was hoping you would stay here for a bit, after all you do need a place to live am I right?"

This made you mad. "Don't you ever think you know anything about me!" You yelled at him.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that." He said, "Please forgive me, you just seemed like you were running from something."

"Why would you think that?" You asked.

"Well why else would you be out in this area at night in the freezing rain?"

This stopped you, "I don't believe you have the right to know that." you said.

"Maybe so but even if thats true there is no way your leaving now, it's dark out and still raining at least stay the night." This was true you couldn't bare going out in the cold again.

"Fine but just for tonight." You said in surrender.

"Thats good to here." Bruce said back giving you a smile. You didn't make eye contact with him you instead looked at your shoes. "Well Alfred will show you to your room, I have a business meeting tonight so I'll see you later, oh and I didn't catch your name." He said.

"It's (y/n )" You say.

"Well see you later (y/n)" Bruce said. You noticed he wasn't leaving just standing there.

"Shall I show you to your room miss (y/n)?" Alfred asked.

"Sure Alfred." You say following him up the stairs.

Bruce Watched you go up the stairs. When you had left the area he walked over to him office and open the secret stair way to the bat-cave. It was time to get to work.
