Description
This is a purely personal piece. I wanted to put how I feel with everything that's going on in a painting and well. This is what happened.ΒI'm in two minds to either say what this piece is about, or leave it to stand on it's own merit.Β

I think the way you portrayed the snake as an entity circling around her adds a lot of meaning into the piece that the viewer can use to make their own interpretations.
The colouring method used here is also pretty fitting with this artpiece. Great job!

honestly, I feel that something is still missing ...
or that something is "out of place"; if you wanted to convey drama and anguish, to me, personally, it transmits little; but maybe I misunderstood your intent.
Forgive the brutality, but take my comment as an impression of an "anonymous" person and not give it too much importance; I'm not so good to teach or criticize anyone.

The simple, mild orange and green colours are a lovely combination.
I didn't see the snake at first, I thought she was swimming in water.
It is a little bit flat, but I think that adds to the attraction:

It's about that feeling when everything is awful in the world.There's violence and unrest and it's terrifying. I have no voice, no way to make an impact. I feel helpless, enraged, and defeated all in one swoop.Β

Wow, hence the serpent representing the chaos and evil, sprialing around you and wearing you down. Er- correct? I hope I'm not misinterpreting that.Β
And- I actually, know this feeling. It makes you feel why bother doing anything because everything and everyone is destroying each other and themselves.
You want to be creative and be good, but you keep wondering if it's worth trying just because of all the wicked things going about around you.

I really like these colors and this shading, it's a really nice piece!
When I look at it, it makes me feel like the person in this painting is having some sort of mental breakdown or they're thinking about something deeply?Β
Maybe they found out that something wasn't really healthy in their life and they struggle with consequences?Β
I dunno, it kinda makes me think in that way, but again I kinda like this art

Interesting perspective! It's got a lot of mental breakdown esque to it. It's about the exhaustion of the world. Everything is on fire and I'm just exhausted. I'm mentally exhausted from the hate in the world, the pressure, the cruelty. It's just overwhelming and I feel helpless.Β
