Description
The fifth edition in this series of ARC Troopers, made possible by the template from SmacksArt , Sergeant Fuus takes his place among the cast. This design was the one that got me hung up the most as I debated where I wanted to go with him; that helmet in particular kept throwing me for a loop, as I had many ideas I wanted to explore with it. In the end, I wet with a combination of the Spec Ops trooper bump panels, antennae and also a Phase II Rangefinder. Justifying the bumps with the binoculars will be something I have to depict in later work, but the general idea is that the 1st quadrant of the right bump and the 2nd quadrant of the left bump are shaved down to allow the rangefinder to slide up and down at will, while the antennae are situated slightly back from their normal position and onto the horizontal axis between the 3rd and 4th quadrants. Inspiration for his design came from TCW Arc Troopers,, Spec Ops troopers and Clone Snipers from EA's Battlefront 2.

Originally a Spec-Ops clone trooper under the charge of Commander Jet, Fuus missed out on the first battle of Geonosis but was involved with other actions, though his exploits remained covered in black ink well into the days of the Empire. He was born with a unique mutation that enhanced his hearing and senses, enabling him to hear frequencies that other Clones could not pick up, and see in low light. Fuus was present for the second Battle of Geonosis alongside Furari, fighting under Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi. He was noted for being among the clones who was grabbed by Geonosians and being lifted away into a tunnel network, but was able to fight his way out by grabbing a fellow abducted clone's flamethrower and torching through the alien bug warriors to rejoin the survivors. For his resourcefulness, he was recomended for ARC Trooper training, and returned to Kamino to be retrained only to end up defending the planet alongside other clones who came under the command of Captain Firefox. During the battle, he used his attuned senses to track droid movements and flank them, and also disabling a bomb that had had otherwise gone unnoticed. Fuus remained a part of the Nexu Nine for the remainder of the war, and was among the ARC Troopers who were subdued and liberated of their inhibitor chips after Order 66. He later developed training programs for Alliance Intelligence and wrote manuals for Rebels operating listening posts. He was killed in action in 2 ABY during a covert operation that was helmed by Firefox and Captain Flanniq of the Alderaan Vanguard.
