I'd like to advertise a kickstarter project aiming to create a open source embroidery program:Embroidermodder 2 Kickstarter , see also the project's website .
I turned the philomena vector I made a while ago into into an embroidery design and embroidered it on a t-shirt.
The zip file contains the photo, embroidery design in PES and VP3 format, the list of colors, the SVG file and the WMF file I feed to the embroidery software.
MLP:FiM and characters are property of Hasbro and Lauren Faust

It took ~2 hours of funny SVG magic and another 3 hours for the embroidery machine to stitch it out. Not that much time considering how good it turned out.

Yea, it came out really good! I really want to get that stitched on my bedsheets, but i highly doubt my grandma has the patience for it...

It's 23k Stitches, I doubt anybody has the patience to do that by hand. You can try and find somebody with a embroidery machine. If you find one but the maximum embroidery area is to small I can make a smaller version of the design very fast
