2008
I was unaware of what a fursona really was but I used this wolf character to express my own personality. It was both genderless and nameless.

2009 gray

I started to draw digitally, using mouse. I also used this design to express myself and at this point of my life I felt alone and was often sad. I remember it even though I was just 9 years old and don't remember anything else from that age.

2009 white

This character was also used to express my personality and my thoughts as a fursona would but she was still just a character.

This design later turned into my beloved Malaya.

2009 red

At this point I'd realized that most canid artist like me would usually have a character they usually draw that is somewhat more personal than every other character and I got inspired by Kyoichii 's old fursona Weedo to create my own.

The design was simple and the personality wouldn't match me a lot at all. This personality was tougher and grumpier than most of my other characters were, aside from me as I was shy and kind.

I found out what a fursona was and I looked at my Zaila design and thought to myself "what if I become you and you become me?" and that's when I started to consider this very character as my fursona.

2010

I tweaked my design, putting in black stripes that would turn blue when she got pissed off and I also gave her a necklace made out of some sort of purple crystal, having no real meaning at all.

2010 - 2011

Later during 2010 I got bored of Zaila, and decided to keep her as a character instead of a fursona as I made a new one that matches my character less than Zaila as Zaila had already grown to be the person i wanted to be.

I'd seen lots of sparkledogs out there and I sure wanted one, and that's how Reen was born.

2011

Later on, Zaila came back as I stop drawing Reen.

Without realizing it I'd give Zaila lighter colors than before and I removed the stripes and later on the necklace. her personality was slightly twattier as I was a twat but she was still stronger as a person than I was.

This was also the year I started showing my artworks on the internet

2012

I grew out of my twatty personality and realized that I didn't like the bright red I'd given my fursona. I started using darker red and as I wanted her to look even darker I added black markings, first on her lower back and then on her legs and right above her hindpaws.

This was the year when my stronger depression broke out. She also had an optional hair with a neck marking, that I'd not use as much as her normal outlook.

Zaila was still more of a person I wanted to be rather than the person I was.

2013

I'd finally grown fully into the personality that my fursona and I now share. She became even darker red and I started using the hair more. I gave her black shoulder markings and as I wanted piercings I gave her snake bites as well.

I also broke free from my depression and found myself as a rather happy and confident person.

2014

The only thing that got tweaked so far this year is the design in which I gave her some more black markings on the tail tip, the chest and I removed the neck marking that's attached to the hair that is still optional.
